This Verdejo, hailing from those ancient vines in Valdebarreiro, certainly had a lively day. The producer, clearly devoted to the variety, describes it as bursting with vibrant aromas of white fruit and a hint of herbaceous notes. It’s a wine with a beautifully lively acidity – guaranteed to wake up the palate – and a persistent finish. Perfect with grilled fish, or perhaps even a delightful pairing with fresh cheeses – a winner of the Golden Fish Wine Award, no doubt.
