This Vidal Fleury Condriey V.S.G. is a delightful demonstration that a touch of ambition – particularly when fuelled by the Vidal grape – can pay off handsomely. Hints of pineapple and blackcurrant suggest a terroir blessed with sandy soils and the warming influence of the Condriey climate. Remarkably elegant with a vibrant acidity, it's a wine perfectly suited to grilled fish with lemon, or perhaps a seafood salad. And, of course, that bronze medal at the Concours Général Agricole quietly confirms that sometimes, a little self-assurance is all it takes.
