Description

Delicately amber, with very subtle golden reflections that betray the influence of the floral component. On the nose it offers green apple, dried chamomile and an almost ethereal saline note. There’s a hint of almond, a touch of iodine and herbaceous tones. In the mouth it displays admirable tension: the Syrah’s firm acidity is tamed by the creamy texture the floral influence imparts. The attack is dry and direct, but quickly opens into layers of white fruit, elegant bitterness of citrus peel, persistent saltiness, dried fruits and black tea. The finish is precise and long. This is yet another testament to Syrah’s versatility—under flor it gains a rare and captivating identity.
