This Riesling seems almost deliberately crafted to showcase its own intricate character. Initial notes of citrus – green apple and lime – are underpinned by Pitangote and Moramelho, adding a remarkably vibrant edge. The palate is delightfully light and refreshing, with an acidity that’s quite insistent, a clear echo of those Waiheke vineyard memories, where the sea breeze meets a limestone-rich soil. Definitely paired with fresh oysters or a fragrant chicken curry.
