Villa Oliveira This wine expresses the desire to craft a Touriga Nacional from an old vine. In a region where old vines comprise a wide range of blended varieties on the same plot, we chose to harvest only Touriga Nacional from a single vine over 80 years old. From this highly selective harvest comes a classic Touriga Nacional, where the entire vinification process was focused on exceptional raw material. Vinification: Manual harvest. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, followed by a one‑month post‑fermentation maceration. The wine ages in 225‑liter French oak barrels for 18 months. It is non‑filtered. In honour of our heritage, we decided to produce these extremely limited editions.
