This Villa Vescovile Gewürztraminer clearly enjoyed a very invigorating slumber. The cryo-aging, with its touch of cold, hints at a certain air of mystery – perhaps even a touch of initial suspicion. Precisely controlled fermentation at 22°C ensures the characteristic aroma of the grape – rose, orange and spice notes – is extracted with remarkable finesse. A cold, sterile bottling, as if it’s been sleeping in a high-performance fridge, guarantees the wine’s freshness and complexity remain utterly intact. Wonderful with dishes featuring aromatic herbs or poultry.
