Cabezaparda takes its name from the highest point in La Rioja – the San Lorenzo peak. Produced by Viña Salceda in Alto Najerilla from old Garnacha vines, some of which are centuries old, this fine red wine expresses the freshest and most subtle side of the grape. A subsequent one‑year aging in barrels, French oak foudres, and the “ovo de betão” (cement‑egg) treatment gives it a fluid and ethereal profile, where a mineral texture elegantly prevails over the influence of the wood.
