Pico Palomares gets its name from the majestic peak that dominates the Sonsierra horizon, shaping the personality of one of Rioja’s most privileged regions. Made by Viña Salceda from a blend in which Tempranillo lends firmness and structure, while Graciano contributes remarkable freshness, this fine red comes from ancient vines cultivated at altitude. One year of ageing in French oak barrels (foudres) gives it a round, velvety texture, highlighted by an imposing mineral character.
