Nestled in Bué, a small village at the heart of the Sancerre appellation, lies the Vincent Pinard estate, revealing itself vintage after vintage thanks to the quality of its musts. Both in white and red, the estate stands out, largely thanks to the arrival of Vincent and Cosette’s sons, Florent and Clément Pinard. The Pinard family currently owns a 17-hectare estate across some of the region’s most beautiful clay-calcareous terroirs. Vineyard management is rooted in pure, ancestral savoir-faire – no grand revolutions here, simply a passion for beautiful grapes and a love for exceptional parcels, combined with experience and talent. Their predominantly biodynamic approach, closely tied to the parcel-by-parcel philosophy, is applied judiciously, without fanaticism, always highlighting the unique character of each terroir. Hand-harvesting is the only method employed, and synthetic products are strictly forbidden. The aim is to authentically express the pure essence of the Sancerre terroir, and the result is now widely considered among France's finest wines.
