This wine from Vinha da Migalha certainly seems to have had a fascinating life – five years in oak barrels have undeniably layered in a remarkable complexity. Hints of resin, alongside intensely ripe fruit, point to a very specific Douro terroir. Remarkably, despite its ageing, this full-bodied white retains a wonderfully refreshing character, ideally paired with grilled fish infused with aromatic herbs.
