This Arinto from Vinha de Saturno in the Alentejo feels like it’s sprung straight from a fairytale. The Antão Vaz grapes lend a wonderfully vibrant acidity – quite a spirited kick, really – which would pair beautifully with a salad featuring figs. These passionate winemakers, clearly captivated by a vineyard steeped in more history than the Iberian Peninsula itself, have managed to bottle the freshness of a morning dew. Seriously enchanting, and utterly delicious with grilled fish or a good, tangy sheep’s cheese.
