The Vinha Paz wines, whose name derives from the producer’s mother, are made in the demarcated Dão region. The estate spans about 10.5 hectares of vines, of which 7.5 hectares are old vines. António Canto Moniz produces the wines from grapes grown in the Leira da Tremoa area, processed by traditional foot‑pumping; after vinification and ageing they are bottled at the Casa da Carreira Alta cellars in Oliveira de Barreiros.
