In 1942, the company CAVES IMPÉRIO – Imperial Vinícola, Lda was founded, dedicated to the production of wines and liqueurs, and in 1981 it adopted the name CAVES IMPÉRIO, S.A. Just a year later, in 1943, its location and the dedication of its partners made it possible to build the first warehouse and cellar for wine ageing and to produce natural sparkling wines using the champagne method. In the following years the facilities were expanded, the product range broadened, and quality was refined to satisfy even the most demanding consumer. (Image purely illustrative)
