In 1942, the company CAVES IMPÉRIO – Imperial Vinícola, Lda was founded, dedicated to producing wines and liqueurs, and in 1981 it adopted the designation CAVES IMPÉRIO, S.A. The following year, in 1943, thanks to its location and the dedication of its partners, the first warehouse and cellar for wine ageing and the production of natural sparkling wines by the Champagne method were built. In the years that followed, the facilities were expanded, the range of products broadened, and the quality refined to satisfy even the most demanding consumer. (illustrative image only)
