In 1942, the company CAVES IMPÉRIO – Imperial Vinícola, Lda was founded, dedicated to producing wines and liqueurs, and in 1981 it adopted the name CAVES IMPÉRIO, S.A. By 1943, thanks to its location and the dedication of its partners, the first storage warehouse and cellar were built for ageing wines and producing natural sparkling wines by the champagne method. In the following years, the facilities expanded, its range of products grew, and its quality was refined to satisfy the most demanding consumer. (illustrative image only)
