Description

“Dating back to 1670, Warre’s remains steadfast in its tradition, crafting a Vintage Port that truly captures the grace and refinement of bygone eras. These wines, rooted in Touriga Nacional, Vinhas Velhas and Touriga Francesa, offer a remarkable freshness and complexity. The extended aging – four years in oak followed by eight in bottle – delivers a profoundly rich sensory experience, a departure from the quicker-paced LBVs. The legacy cork, inherited from the Vintage Port, coupled with the absence of filtration, ensures this wine continues to evolve, culminating in a beautiful natural sediment that surprisingly enhances its flavour. Perfect with a strong blue cheese, or perhaps a decadent dark chocolate dessert – allowing the Warre’s story to fully unfold with every sip.”
