This Ortswein (municipality wine) is a true lesson in typicity and elegance. From the southwest slopes of the Tüllinger Berg, in the privileged setting of Weil am Rhein, this red wine is born from vines surrounded by biodiversity and purely calcareous soils. Following a philosophy of minimal intervention, the Schneider brothers allow the Pinot Noir to express itself without artifices, with spontaneous fermentation and an 18‑month ageing on lees in wooden barrels. The result is a complex and subtle wine, with a distinctly Burgundian profile, where mature red fruit (cherries and strawberries) merges with buttery tannins and a persistent structure.
