Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aiming to continue a five‑generation legacy steeped in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years, the family grew alongside the business, and today the estate spans roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards entirely under integrated production. With its three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are destined for the international market, reaching more than 30 countries worldwide and showcasing the best of Alentejo.
