Born in a barro (clay) amphora almost entirely filled with Tinta Grossa, this wine is a passionate declaration from Mestre Daniel of this remarkable grape. Cultivated in a hidden parcel nestled on a 300-meter-high Alentejo hillside, the ‘Tinta da Nossa’ – as it’s affectionately known – seems to grow with a concentration worthy of the Serra de São Mamede. A truly inquisitive wine, prompting a reconsideration of tradition and the bold appreciation of Tinta Grossa championed for so long. Delicious with grilled steaks and aged cheeses, naturally.
