Quanta Terra Douro

A modern Douro Superior project from winemaker Jorge Alves, Quanta Terra works exclusively with old-vine, low-yield vineyards in Favaios — the high-altitude plateau celebrated for Moscatel and increasingly recognised for serious, fresh, mineral Douro reds and whites. The visitor experience focuses on the philosophy of low-intervention winemaking, with tastings of single-parcel bottlings and the celebrated Quanta Terra Reserva that have helped push Douro Superior into international consciousness as a region in its own right.

Old distillery from 1934 restored, functions as a winery, laboratory and cultural space.
