Description

This wine seems almost designed for a serious workout – delivered in 20kg boxes, no less! It’s a testament to sheer dedication and tradition, built around Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional. The lengthy aging in French oak barrels (14 months – giving the wine plenty of time to unwind!) has resulted in a wonderfully full-bodied wine, exhibiting a remarkable depth of flavour, clearly influenced by the terroir of the Trás-os-Montes. It’s a fantastic accompaniment to game meats or dishes featuring wild mushrooms.
