This generous Madeira wine, very old and classified as “Frasqueira,” is part of the wine estate of the owning family of this firm. It is produced from noble grape varieties harvested during years of exceptional quality, using grapes from the best vineyards on the Island of Madeira. Before bottling, it benefited from an extended ageing period in old oak barrels at the recommended temperature in the century‑old company’s cellars. As a result, it has evolved into a distinctive Madeira, with a high level of structure, aroma and breadth on the palate.
