This generous Madeira wine, very old and classified as “Frasqueira,” is part of the owning family’s wine estate. It’s made from a noble grape variety harvested in years of exceptional quality, using the best vines from Madeira Island. Before bottling it enjoyed an extended ageing in old oak casks at the recommended temperature in this century‑old company’s warehouses, allowing it to develop a distinctive character, high structure, aromatic richness and wide palate. It’s best to let it breathe after opening to fully unfold its complex aromas. Pereira d’Oliveira, an independent Madeira producer run by descendants of the founding owners, is owned by three brothers and managed by Aníbal D´Oliveira and Luís D´Oliveira, representing the fifth generation of expertise in production, marketing and export. The company houses five Madeira producers from local families, the oldest dating back to 1820, with a substantial stock of old and rare wines that add value to Pereira D’Oliveira (Wines).
