Château Suduiraut, Premier Cru Classé in 1855, is one of the historic Châteaux of Sauternes. A rigorous selection, both in the vineyard and in the cellars, ensures the production of Château Suduiraut wines, which embody the successful expression of this exceptional terroir. Certified High Environmental Value, the estate comprises 91 hectares of vineyards on sandy-clay soil, where the stones capture the heat of the sun and allow the grapes to reach maturity more quickly. The carefully chosen proportions of grape varieties are decisive to the wines' unique profile. 90% of the vineyard is planted with Sémillon and 10% with Sauvignon Blanc. Sémillon is a traditional grape of the region and, when affected by noble rot, its structure on the palate is broad, bringing great richness and sweetness to the wine. Sauvignon Blanc is full of citrus, white peach and exotic fruit aromas, lending the blend a touch of acidity that guarantees freshness and aromatic complexity.
