Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extraordinary beauty, located in the heart of the Douro, and has been owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family’s long‑standing connection to wine stems from their ties to export houses in Vila Nova de Gaia through the cork business, but this time that relationship has turned into a realized dream, and the project is now in the hands of the fourth generation. With a history of over 250 years, the estate displays a preserved trace and the original 1764 cellar building, after renovations by architect Arnaldo Barbosa.
