Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a stunning property in the heart of the Douro, owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family’s link to wine dates back many years, originating from their ties to exporting houses in Vila Nova de Gaia through the cork trade; this connection eventually turned a dream into reality, and the project is now in the hands of the fourth generation. With a history of more than 250 years, the estate showcases a preserved 1764 cellar building, restored by architect Arnaldo Barbosa.
