Description

The Esporão company was born in Alentejo out of an unconditional desire to produce the finest wines. This motivation is reflected in every bottle they make and is the main reason they have expanded their range into other products and regions. The Esporão Estate, situated in the heart of Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, boasts unique agricultural conditions – wide temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps achieve sustainable production in harmony with the environment. With roughly 702 hectares devoted to vineyards, olive groves, and other crops managed through a Biological Production System, the estate now cultivates about 40 grape varieties, four olive types, as well as orchards and vegetable gardens.
