The 409 was previously known as Condado de Oriza 409; its numeric name comes from its 409 days of ageing in French oak barrels, a little over 13 months. This wine comes from young and old vines on two plots around Olmedillo de Roa, and it is rich in blackberries and blueberries, with subtle toasted and spiced notes.
