The A Serenada Y14 Grauvaque red wine is produced from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Touriga Nacional and Carignan grapes grown on a 1970‑planted vine in slate soils with grauvaque and clay. After fermenting in “spin barrel” casks and ageing for eight months in stainless‑steel tanks, the wine captivates with aromas of black and red fruit—raspberries, currants and cherries—alongside pepper and vegetable notes, evoking roasted coffee and licorice. On the palate it is complex, highlighted by a balance between tannins and acidity. The A Serenada wines are a family‑run project carried out in the house cellar, on soils naturally poor in organic matter and rich in iron, which imparts a characteristic minerality.
