This Borges Tawny Reserva seems to have spent a little *too* long daydreaming about jam. The honeyed hue hints at the sweetness that unfolds on the palate, with the compote dancing beautifully alongside ripe fruit. The Touriga Nacional and Tinta Barroca contribute a gracefully aged elegance, and the lingering finish is a proper toast to the Douro’s traditions – absolutely sublime with aged cheeses and a generous slab of Iberian ham.
