Young Aragonez grapes, kissed by 50% new oak, deliver an immediate burst of intensely ripe black fruit – almost a concentrated dark cherry sweetness – complemented by a delicate hint of black ink. The oak is remarkably graceful, softening the initial power of the grape. Expect this wine to continue developing complexity and nuance over the next few years, and it’ll pair beautifully with a hearty roast.
