Description

AR is the premium brand of Adega de Redondo, created as a tribute to the grape growers of Redondo. This red wine is made from the Aragonês, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties. It shows an intense ruby colour and a complex aroma with floral and spicy notes, with red fruit standing out prominently. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, it reveals a dense and unctuous texture. Since 1956, the Adega Cooperativa de Redondo has been dedicated to Alentejo wines. After 65 years, located in the very heart of the Alentejo, it has been modernising and adapting to the new demands of the market. The wines produced come from the grapes of some 200 associated growers, allowing rigorous quality control and full traceability from the vineyard to the consumer.
