AR is the premium brand of Adega de Redondo, created as a tribute to the grape growers of Redondo. This monovarietal red wine is made from Syrah and showcases an intense ruby hue with floral, spicy, and fresh aromas, as well as hints of tobacco leaf that develop during its 12‑month ageing in French oak barrels. On the palate it is surprisingly fresh, well‑balanced, and lingering. Since 1956, Adega Cooperativa de Redondo has devoted itself to Alentejo wines. After 65 years, located in the heart of the Alentejo, it has been modernising and adapting to new market demands. The wines are produced from grapes supplied by around 200 associate growers, ensuring rigorous quality control and complete traceability from vineyard to consumer. (illustrative image only)
