This Private Selection white wine is produced from a blend of Syrah, Arinto and unidentified varieties sourced from an old vineyard plot. After 12 months of aging in second‑use French and Hungarian oak barrels, it spends about a year in bottle. The result is a lemon‑yellow hue, with a nose that bursts with floral and fruity aromas of peach, balanced by subtle vanilla notes. On the palate it is full‑bodied, fresh and vibrant. Adega do Fundão, founded in 1949 by 30 viticulturists from the Beira Interior, is located in Cova da Beira, an area with a vine‑growing tradition dating back to the 2nd century and Roman settlements of that era. The vines are planted along the Gardunha Mountain, enabling the production of grapes that give the wines unparalleled richness, freshness and exuberance.
