Adega Mayor The Adega Mayor Reserva do Comendador A(L)TITUDE is born from one of the most used words and ways of being by Comendador Rui Nabeiro: Attitude. This wine emerges from the high‑altitude vineyards of Serra de São Mamede. It is a fresh, elegant, and balanced white, with a distinctive mineral profile and sharp acidity. The thermal swings of the Serra de São Mamede’s altitude vineyards give this wine personality, modernity, and a touch of irreverence. The grapes are hand‑picked with careful selection of bunches. Fermentation occurs in 500‑litre new French oak barrels, followed by six months of “batonnage” on fine lees, resulting in a fresh wine with structure and a velvety texture. An extremely gastronomic Alentejo white that pairs beautifully with rich, intense, and exotic foods. Seasoned fish or oven‑baked white meats are excellent companions, and it makes a lovely match for cod or octopus on Christmas day. The wine is filtered and not subjected to fining.
