On the palate it is fresh and elegant, with good acidity, highlighting raspberry and strawberry notes and concluding with a wine of personality. Negra‑Mole is an emblematic grape synonymous with the Algarve wine region. Considered the second oldest grape in Portugal, it is disease‑resistant and well adapted to the terroir. Although it was once on the brink of extinction, the current trend favours replanting Negra‑Mole, as it still holds great untapped potential. As an indigenous variety of the Algarve, it carries history and tradition, adding value to Algarve wines. Sul Composto is a family project that originated in the Algarve wine region and aims to promote differentiation of the region’s wines.
