Alabastro The name Alabastro is inspired by a semi‑precious marble of Alentejo, paying tribute to this stone and the connection to the soils of many of our vineyards. This wine comes from selecting the best wines with potential for Reserva. Wine Profile Alentejo regional wine made from the most emblematic red varieties of the region, harvested in September. Partial aging in used wood gives it a medium body, complexity and balance, with spice notes. Very pleasant and easy to drink, smooth on the palate with a long, fruity finish. Soil Clay‑limestone and loamy. Vinification and Maturation Grapes are vinified separately in the modern winery of Quinta do Carmo, Estremoz. Fermentation in stainless‑steel tanks with temperature control. Light post‑fermentation maceration to preserve fruity aromas. 12 months: 90% in stainless‑steel tanks and 10% in used French oak barrels. Food Pairing Versatile at the table. Pairs well with stewed meat, roasted poultry, lightly seasoned charcuterie, and buttery cheeses.
