"Albert Bichot Les Clos" is, in terms of surface area, the largest of the Chablis Grand Cru vineyards. It enjoys a reliable south‑east exposure (sunset). We are privileged to own two vineyards here, covering almost four hectares in total, which allows us to blend grapes with two very different yet complementary profiles. The first vineyard sits halfway up the slope and benefits from slightly higher temperatures than the second, which is located at the top of the slope and is shielded from northern winds by a nearby forest. The two plots again confirm that Burgundy is the realm of “terroirs”. The halfway plot usually yields deeper, richer, and meatier wines, while the upper plot delivers wines with higher acidity and tension. It is the combination of the two that gives our “Les Clos” all its complexity. Oak barrels (35 %) and vats – 10 months. Final ageing in stainless‑steel vats (100 %) – 6 months. Fine lees. SKU: 105861
