Altas Quintas Reserva-Do Tinto

Description

The Altas Quintas Reserva red wine is the result of blending Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Touriga Nacional, cultivated on granite soils that give it freshness and depth. It displays an intense, concentrated ruby color, with aromas of ripe dark fruit such as blackberry and black cherry, combined with notes of forest, olive and tobacco, enriched by subtle toasted and spice nuances from the barrel. On the palate it shows great structure and balance, silky tannins, and a long, vigorous finish with a slight peppery hint. The Altas Quintas project was born from a desire to produce in Alentejo wines with distinctive characteristics for discerning wine lovers. The difference in their wines begins with the vineyard locations that give rise to them, planted on a plateau at 600 metres altitude in the heart of Alentejo. Alongside the terroir, the project's most prominent trait is its obsession with difference, always pushing to achieve the highest quality in the raw material that creates these Alentejo wines.
