Altas Quintas Reserva-Do Tinto

Description

The Altas Quintas Reserva red wine is the result of blending Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, and Touriga Nacional, grown on granite soils that give it freshness and depth. It shows a deep, concentrated ruby color, with aromas of ripe dark fruit such as blackberry and black cherry, paired with forest, olive, and tobacco notes, enriched by subtle toasted and spicy nuances from the barrel. On the palate it displays great structure and balance, silky tannins, and a long, vigorous finish with a hint of pepper. The Altas Quintas project was born from a desire to create, in Alentejo, wines with distinctive characteristics for discerning enthusiasts. The difference in its wines starts with the vineyard location that gives rise to them—planted on a plateau at 600 m altitude in the heart of Alentejo. Alongside the terroir, the most prominent feature of this project is an obsession with difference, always pushing to extract the maximum quality from the raw material that produces these Alentejo wines.
