Muros Antigos Alvarinho 2025, signed by Anselmo Mendes, is one of the great modern classics of the Alvarinho grape, known for its precision, freshness and aromatic purity. In the glass it displays a pale citrine colour with greenish reflections and a very expressive profile, featuring notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange blossom and fresh herbs, underpinned by a pronounced granite mineral character. On the palate it is fresh, vibrant and elegant, with lively acidity, fine texture and a salty nuance typical of the Monção e Melgaço sub‑region. The finish is long, dry and very precise, leaving a clean, refreshing citrus‑mineral aftertaste. Ideal with shellfish, grilled fish, sushi, ceviche, fresh salads and light Asian cuisine.
