Known as "Mr. Alvarinho", Anselmo Mendes is probably the most influential voice in Vinho Verde's qualitative revolution over the past decades. The project, based in Monção e Melgaço, works exclusively with Alvarinho across multiple expressions — from the fresh Muros de Melgaço to the elegant, textured Parcela Única and skin-contact Curtimenta. The visit takes in the granite-terraced vineyards above the Minho river, the winery and tastings focused on the contrast between styles and parcels.
Anselmo Mendes — known as "Mr. Alvarinho" — founded his project in 1998 in Monção e Melgaço, becoming one of the most influential voices in the qualitative renewal of Vinho Verde.
