Tignanello is the perfect example of a Supertuscan, characterized by a careful selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It is one of Italy’s oldest wines, first produced in 1970, and its blend has remained unchanged since 1982. It was also the first Sangiovese aged in barrels and is made only from the best vintages. The wine impresses with its great complexity and elegance. On the nose, it envelops you with notes of red fruit, stone fruit, vanilla, and spices, accompanied by hints of coffee and caramel. In the mouth, it reveals a wine rich in vitality, flavor, and lingering taste—an absolute classic.
