The Palpite tinto is crafted from the finest vineyard blocks and barrels. It displays a concentrated dark violet hue with intense red‑fruit aromas. On the palate it offers subtle menthol notes alongside ripe fruit and supple tannins, leaving a powerful, lingering finish. Portuguese winemaker António Maçanita met English consultant and viticulturist David Booth in early 2004; over the next months António was learning viticulture from David, and a strong friendship developed. The next step was to make wine, and their first bottle won the Trophy Alentejo at the International Wine Challenge – their second award in 22 years of competition.
