This red wine is the result of António Madeira’s hard work and dedication in cultivating very old vines at the foot of the Serra da Estrela. About 25 % of the grapes in this blend come from around 20 ancient varieties, some of which are even endangered, such as Marufo, Bastardo, or Alfrocheiro. It perfectly illustrates the winery’s philosophy of simply letting the unique terroir of the Dão speak. A highly gastronomic wine, intense and fresh, full of flavor and minerality, that will keep you enjoying it from start to finish.
