This Aphros, hailing from Vinho Verde, feels like it’s stepped straight out of a fairytale. The hand-harvested grapes and spontaneous fermentation in beeswax-lined amphorae – a delightfully quirky touch – undoubtedly elevate the experience. The seven-month “sur lie” aging, with the lees at the base, imparts a subtle complexity that beautifully contrasts with its trademark Loureiro vibrancy.
