This monovarietal Aragonês wine emerges with an intense garnet hue and violet overtones. On the nose it offers exuberant notes of ripe red fruits, milk chocolate, anise and high‑quality oak, and on the palate a wonderful freshness and structure, where fruit meets oak notes, resulting in a sumptuous wine. The Herdade da Malhadinha Nova represents an ambitious and innovative project of the Soares family, who transformed a piece of Alentejan land into one of the most beautiful and charismatic estates in Alentejo. Located in Albernoa and now covering 80 hectares of vines, this is where wines full of personality are produced, whose labels are based on the children’s drawings of the family. In addition to a focus on the vineyard and the wine, the estate is also used for olive cultivation and olive‑oil production, as well as rural and enotourism activities.
