This “Artefacto” – entirely crafted from Alentejo Touriga Nacional – genuinely feels like it’s had a lengthy chat with the land. The intensely red fruit, brimming with ripe wild berry notes, clearly soaked up the generous sunshine of the region. It boasts a medium body and well-integrated tannins, all while remaining remarkably elegant. A silver medal at the Decanter World Awards confirms the winemaker’s good judgement – and it pairs beautifully with a hearty venison stew, perhaps spiked with a touch of cinnamon.
