Art.Terra emerges from the quest for a genuine expression of terroir and the varieties it contains, employing the ancient method of vinification in clay amphorae. Casa Relvas is a family project that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, in Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of continuing a five‑generation legacy steeped in a passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years, the family grew alongside the business, and it soon expanded to encompass roughly 750 hectares of forested land, 225 hectares of olive grove, and 350 hectares of vineyards, all produced with integrated farming practices. With the three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce 6 million bottles of wine annually, 70 % of which satisfy the external market, making it present in more than 30 countries worldwide and offering the best of the Alentejo.
