La Condenada is primarily made from Tempranillo, though it also includes a percentage of Graciano, Garnacha and Palomino fino. The name refers to the vineyards from which it comes, located in the municipality of Baños de Ebro in the province of Álava. These lands are doomed to abandonment and disappearance; however, with effort, care and dedication, elegant wines with a very pleasant mineral touch are produced.
