“This Riesling seems to have genuinely launched itself into orbit – a surprisingly buoyant experience for the palate. Those classic Douro notes of blackcurrant and wet stone are certainly present, suggesting a connection to those remarkable vineyards. Decanter’s 93 points certainly validate the ambition, though we can’t quite believe it actually defied gravity. Wonderful with seafood or, perhaps, a mushroom dish to complete the cosmic theme.”
